Operation: Add Dynamic DNS / Edit Dynamic DNS
Description: To Add/Update Dynamic DNS(DDNS). DDNS links static domain/host name to a dynamically assigned IP Address.

Parameter Mandatory Default Description
HostNameYes  
Specify the host name which is registered with DDNS Service provider.
HostName confines to:
  • Type is 'SCALAR'.
  • Datatype is 'DOMAIN'.
  • Words to be separated by DOT(.).
  • Maximum characters allowed are 253.
InterfaceYes  
Select the interface whose IP Address will be bound to the specified host name.
Interface confines to:
  • Type is 'SCALAR'.
  • Datatype is 'STRING'.
IPv4AddressYes  
Select IPv4 Source Address from the available options: Use Port IP or NATed Public IP.
IPv4Address confines to:
  • Type is 'SCALAR'.
  • Datatype is 'STRING'.
  • Only '0', '1' are allowed.
IPEditCheckingIntervalMinutesYes 20 
Specify time interval in minutes after which the DDNS Server will check whether IP Address of the Server is changed.
IPEditCheckingIntervalMinutes confines to:
  • Type is 'SCALAR'.
  • Datatype is 'INTEGER'.
  • Range 4 to 60 is allowed.
  • Maximum digits allowed are 2.
ServiceProviderYes  
Select the Service Provider with which the host name is registered.
ServiceProvider confines to:
  • Type is 'SCALAR'.
  • Datatype is 'STRING'.
LoginNameYes  
Specify your DDNS account's Login name.
LoginName confines to:
  • Type is 'SCALAR'.
  • Datatype is 'STRING'.
  • Maximum characters allowed are 50.
PasswordYes  
Specify your DDNS account's Password.
Password confines to:
  • Type is 'SCALAR'.
  • Datatype is 'STRING'.
  • Maximum characters allowed are 50.
